Det Norske Teatret med Robert Wilson verdens-premiere i aften
Robert Wilson’s intriguing world premiere
See picture as enclosed, from the premiere this evening.
He is here surrounded by his Norwegian cast, after a successful premiere at Det Norske Teateret, performing Edda, to text as context, re-written by Jon Fosse.
In a timewize strikingly beautiful scenography, as a prolonging of the movement and voice work of the eager, and some rather skilful performers, the visual performance as here succeeds in both entertaining and surprizing, leaving the minimalistic concept for a while, in exchange for a broader accessive and slightly less high-brow artistic profile, than earlier works tended to lean on.
